Chiropractic Care in Cambodia

Aussie Bread Tags for Wheelchairs

Mary Honeybun started Bread Tags for Wheelchairs in South Africa in 2006. Retiring from nursing, she wanted to help others and was also passionate about the environment. Mary was aware that the majority of people in need of wheelchairs in South Africa were unable to afford to buy their own.

Mary Honeybun

She came up with the idea of recycling plastic to raise funds to buy wheelchairs and found a plastic moulding company prepared to take bread tags. By the early 2023 had funded more than 1,000 mobility aids.

Our clients do a fabulous job of gathering bread tags and dropping them off into our collection jar at Knox Chiropractic & Wellness.

Australian Chiropractic College

The Australian Chiropractic College (ACC) has been established with the support of a passionate group of practitioners who believe there is a better way to deliver optimal health for people through chiropractic and educate better ‘practice ready’ graduates. Our very own, Dr. Matthew Holmes lectures at the college, teaching chiropractic students all about Neurology!

Australian Spinal Research Foundation

The Australian Spinal Research Foundation (ASRF) was established in 1977, and is internationally the largest chiropractic research funding organisation. Over the last 46 Years the ASRF has funded or co-funded over 250 research projects costing in excess of AUD $2.9M. The Foundation investigates the impact of chiropractic care on the quality of life of an individual and the wellbeing of their community.

International Federation of Chiropractors & Organizations

The objectives of the Federation (IFCO) are to promote, protect and advance chiropractic, to assist chiropractors in any practical and legal way, and advance chiropractic and to facilitate public access to and knowledge of the services of chiropractic.

Rotary Club of Rowville – Lysterfield

The Rotary Club of Rowville was formed in early 2004 by a group of Rotarians and interested community members who saw the need for a committed service club in the Rowville area. The Club was ‘Chartered’ (officially recognised by Rotary International) on 1st July 2004 with a total of 22 members.

We have an active and enthusiastic team of members (both young and old) and are constantly looking to add to our numbers to increase our activities in local, national and international projects.

We have supported a wide range of local activities and groups during our years of existence. We have called for applications for Community Grants and as a result have distributed $10,000 amongst a local junior sporting club, social welfare activity and kindergarten. We have supported many activities at Rowville Secondary College, amongst them the provision of rain water tanks, mock vocational interviews, student travel support for international experiences, and opportunities for senior students to be involved in Rotary leadership programs such as RYLA, RYPEN and MUNA. With sponsorship from Knox Council we have also staged Cyber-Safety seminars at the school for students and parents. Most importantly, however, in conjunction with the college we have started what is now the oldest Interact club in our District, giving the students the opportunity to join the Rotary family and do good in the world in their own right.

Share the Dignity

Share the Dignity works to make a real, on-the-ground difference to the lives of women, girls and those who menstruate who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, domestic violence or poverty. We distribute period products to those in need and work to achieve menstrual equity here in Australia. When someone is doing it tough, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period.

We would love if you could donate the following items:

  • shampoo & conditioner
  • toothbrush & toothpaste
  • body wash or soap
  • make-up remover face wipes
  • stationery
  • jewellery
  • books
  • female hygiene/ period products

Sherman College of Chiropractic

Sherman College of Chiropractic was founded by Drs. Thom and Betty Gelardi on the premise that its students would be educated and trained to become doctors of chiropractic who focus on the analysis and adjustment of vertebral subluxation. For 50 years, that has been their sole purpose.

Whether you reside in WantirnaRingwoodBayswaterBoronia or Ferntree Gully, our  aim is to combine education with our care, allowing you to leave our Knox clinic equipped with the right knowledge for your health and as a community to feel and do good.
